Technical Description
A large Whitefriars glass goblet made to celebrate the coronation of Edward VIII. Unfortunately, he abdicated before his coronation 'the king who never was' and the goblet was no longer required...Whitefriars quickly producing an alternative for his brother George VI.
The large conical bowl above a red white and blue colour opaque twist stem.
Superb condition.
