Technical Description
A 19th-century pickle jar with its original ground lid. Engraved with a band of apples around the centre and polished pontil on the base. A fantastic item that is just as practical today as it was in the 19th century.
Historical Relevance
Hand-blown around the time John Alexander Reina Newlands produced the first periodic table of elements in 1864.
