Technical Description 

A superb pair of 19th century ale glasses. The rims have been engraved with fruiting vine with diamond facet cutting below. They sit on Capstan stem and conical feet which have polished pontils. Excellent large usable examples at almost 8 inches tall.

Historical Relevance 

Handcrafted around the time the Natural History Museum was opened in London on the 18th of April 1881.
