Technical Description 

An 18th-century Dutch wine glass. It has a round funnel bowl engraved with butterflies, birds and fruiting vine. Sits on a double series opaque twist stem consisting of two pairs of spiral tapes outside a gauze. Conical foot with a snapped pontil.

Historical Relevance 

Hand-blown around the time The Treaty of Hubertusburg put an end to the Seven Years' War between Prussia and Austria, and their allies France and Russia.
