Historical Relevance
As part of the Scott Falk collection, this is a very fine example and I'm sure Scott was very excited to add it to his collection in the 1970s. It is worth remembering that this was the pre-internet days and finding 18th-century glass was far more difficult than it is today. A triple knop opaque twist would be a fantastic find and even today, good English lead example are not something you will find on a regular basis.
In a historical context, this glass was hand-blown around the time George III became King of Great Britain on the 23rd of October 1760.
