Historical Relevance

Back in the 1970's when the Scott Falk collection was started, Dutch Soda glasses would have been just as rare and collectable as their English counterparts and I doubt that Scott differentiated between them.

In a historical context, this glass was hand-blown around the time Robert Burns wrote his version of the Scots poem Auld Lang Syne in 1788.
