Technical Description

A round funnel bowl with slice cutting to the base which continues down through an inverted baluster shoulder knop and stem. Conical foot with polished pontil. 

Historical Relevance

An exceptional glass in a rare colour, hand-blown around the time The Whig Charles Grey, 2nd Earl Grey succeeded Arthur Wellesley, 1st Duke of Wellington, as the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom.
